What's New for Spring 2008

Under New Ownership

We'd like to introduce ourselves as the new owners of BB's Closet, Children's Consignments. Our names are Christine, Ellen, and Susan. We are three moms who are sisters and sisters-in-law and have participated as consignors in BB's Closet. We are very excited about the opportunity to lead a seasonal consignment business and partner with you to achieve success.

Whether you are a consignor or a shopper, you can expect that we'll do our very best to provide you with a great experience if you participate in one of our upcoming sales. Rachel and Laura built a strong foundation for a business that benefits many families in our community and we are hoping to continue that tradition and possibly, enhance and bring new, creative ideas to BB's Closet. We anticipate a very smooth transition since, thankfully, Rachel and Laura have agreed to help us with the Spring Sale.

We look forward to getting to know you and working with you. New Owners of BB's Closet

Item Limits

Due to the overwhelming amount of merchandise that we receive and given our space limitations, we will be limiting the number of items for the Spring Sale to 400 items per consignor. To allow for greater variety, we are also requiring that consignors be limited to bringing 5 duplicate or exact same items. Although we are not limiting items in any particular size or category, please still strive to bring only your absolute highest-quality items. We will be examining items very closely at check-in so that we continue to offer our shoppers only the best merchandise.

New this Spring...Consignors who Refer 5 New Shoppers to the Sale Can Earn an Additional 5% of Sales
BB's Closet needs your help in spreading the word about our Spring sale to interested new shoppers. We can all benefit from more shoppers! Moms, dads, grandparents, child care providers, friends and family may be thrilled to be invited to shop at BB's Closet for gently used children's clothing, toys, items, and baby gear. If five new people that you refer, shop and provide the Shopper Referral Form to us at checkout with their contact info and your name and consignor number, we'll give you an extra 5% of your sales.

A "new" shopper is defined as someone who is not currently on our mailing list. Please email us if you would like us to check a name on our list.
All shopper referral forms must be completed with the shopper's name and contact info and the consignor's name and consignor number, if available. We prefer you type or clearly print this info. The new shopper should turn in this form at checkout.

Why not send the Shopper Referral Form via email or hand it out to people you see at your family's activities and events? The Shopper Referral Form is also located under the "consignor" tab of the website with the other flyers and postcards. It is meant to be filled out by the shopper or could be pre-filled out by you as you give them to people. Typing the info is preferred in case writing is not legible. Please note that this offer is for NEW shoppers only and all forms will be cross-checked with our current mailing list of previous shoppers and consignors. In case, someone forgets their referral form, we will have extras available at checkout at the sale. Remember, word of mouth is the best way for us to bring in new shoppers and we can all make a difference! Contact bbscloset@gmail.com with questions!
